Staff at Mountainside Fitness donated over 40 packages of Purell sanitizing wipes to their partners at Banner Health Friday, April 3.

“We are very proud Mountainside Fitness was able to assist in the fight against COVID-19 by donating these sanitizing wipes to Banner Health,” Founder and CEO Tom Hatten said in a prepared statement.

“The medical teams at Banner Health have our sincere gratitude for all they are going through in the front lines of this pandemic.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the closures of many businesses across the Valley but medical professionals largely are still working at hospitals and other facilities across the Valley.

Mountainside Fitness is a privately owned health club operating 18 locations, including two in Scottsdale and one in Queen Creek, with 100,000 active members in the Valley.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mountainside Fitness locations suspended operations March 19 but offer a variety of at-home workouts. Those workout include Facebook Live Group Fitness classes like H.I.IT., Barre, Yoga and Pilates. They also release a workout of the day and their daily Peak Performance Zone workouts.

“We are here for you Arizona to do what ever we can in assisting your ongoing fitness needs and stress relief,” Mr. Hatten said.
