NHL player Alex Galchenyuk, who reportedly used racial slurs against one Scottsdale Police officer and threatened to have another officer and his family killed during a traffic stop last month, has had most of the charges against him dropped.
Five of the six charges against Galchenyuk were dismissed in Scottsdale City Court. However the hockey forward lost his job with the Arizona Coyotes as a result of the arrest.
The charges stem from a July 9 incident when Scottsdale Police were called to a scene for a possible impaired driver and hit and run.
