HMA Public Relations hires Rayna Burgett as account coordinator
Posted
Rayna Burgett has joined the Scottsdale-headquartered HMA Public Relations as an account coordinator.
As a part of the account services team, she will support a variety of clients’ communications needs including media relations, social media and community relations, according to a press release.
Prior to joining HMA, Burgett held the roles of communications manager, public relations intern, and communications intern. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in May 2021, with a focus on public relations.
Burgett also appeared on the dean’s list all four years of her academic career, which recognizes students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher on 12 units or more of letter-graded coursework and received numerous awards from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an honor society that recognizes college students across the nation who are in the top 20 percent of their class.
Burgett also served as editor and writer for University of Miami Distraction Magazine, a student-run publication showcasing the culture of the student body, as well as writer and graphic designer for University of Southern California Roski Mag, an online publication that recognizes student art and design work.
“We are excited for Rayna to bring her insights to the team and the future she holds at the company,” said Abbie S. Fink, vice president/general manager.
