A local rescue is helping dogs at risk of euthanasia in Maricopa County shelters find foster homes and permanent families, giving them a chance to adjust outside the shelter environment.
Krizia Ayoub founded Heart of Infinity to save dogs that could be great pets if given the chance.
“That was the goal when I started the rescue, just to focus on dogs that are on the euthanasia list,” Ayoub said. “And in the last two and a half years, our focus has shifted to saving dogs that are marked as fear dogs. So, dogs that are fearful in that shelter environment and are given a deadline for that.”
