Fried chicken-and-egg restaurant plans Phoenix, Scottsdale locations

San Diego-founded The Crack Shack expanding

A fast casual fried chicken-and-egg restaurant called The Crack Shack is opening its first two Arizona locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale by next year.

The Phoenix location, at 1902 E. Camelback Road in the Biltmore area, replaces Brenda’s Inferno, which has been demolished. Brenda’s Inferno was previously called the Armadillo Grill and was featured on an episode of “Bar Rescue” on Paramount Network.

The restaurant is owned by Utah-based Savory Management, which has three restaurant chains in Arizona: Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Butcher and Swig soft drink bar.
