A man identified as a Maricopa County detention officer was arrested Thursday and charged with child sex trafficking.
Chandler Police stated Emmanuel Reyes-Carreon was arrested in Chandler after detectives developed probable cause for his arrest for child sex trafficking.
Media outlets reported that court paperwork states Reyes-Carreon messaged a social media account that he believed belonged to a 15-year-old girl on May 27, offering $200 for sex, making another offer the following day, sending two photos of himself and driving to a Chandler apartment complex.
