We are honored to celebrate our strong Arizona roots and launch the national franchise here in our own backyard.”

Arizona’s first Daddy’s Chicken Shack Restaurant, opening on May 18 in Scottsdale, will have a grand opening with complimentary food samples, half off full-size menu items and more.
To celebrate its first Valley location at 11107 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 101, in Scottsdale, Daddy’s Chicken Shack is hosting a grand opening from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, offering the first 50 people at the free event “free chicken for a year,” according to a press release.
Daddy’s Chicken Shack launched in 2018 in Pasadena, Calif. The second location launched in Houston, Texas in October 2022. The Scottsdale restaurant is its third location in the U.S. with 160 franchise locations planned to open by 2024.
Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s menu features its Big Daddy sandwich consisting of napa slaw and sriracha mayo, while its Spicy Daddy has sambal, cilantro, and ginger mayo. For dessert, the restaurant offers handmade salted miso chocolate chip cookies. Daddy’s Chicken Shack is serving a Southwest Daddy as an ode to the desert and Southwest cuisine.
Daddy’s Chicken Shack Scottsdale serves breakfast all day and is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
Under ownership by Valley resident Dave Liniger and his family-owned private equity business, Area 15 Ventures, Daddy’s Chicken Shack in Scottsdale will be one of nine restaurant locations in the Valley, with 160 planned to open throughout the U.S., including a Colorado location slated to open in July 2023.
“Area 15 Ventures is passionate about supporting emerging franchisors and high-growth businesses that require an investment to scale their opportunity to the next level,” stated Dave Liniger Jr., Daddy’s Chicken Shack president and Area 15 Ventures’ partner. “We fell in love not only with Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s food, but with the founder’s passion and vision for the restaurant and its family-orientated values.”
Owned and operated by Arizona native and businessman/investor, Liniger, the founder of global real estate franchise RE/MAX, Daddy’s Chicken Shack is the entrepreneur’s newest venture.
“We are honored to celebrate our strong Arizona roots and launch the national franchise here in our own backyard,” added Liniger Jr. in the release. “Scottsdale just seemed like a natural choice for the company’s growth.”
Founded by a chef-to-the-celebrities, Pace Webb, Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s chicken sandwiches mixes traditional fried chicken with a Southeast Asian twist, the release said.
Husband-and-wife duo, chef Webb and partner, Chris Georgalas, entertained the idea for Daddy’s Chicken Shack on their first date, and “the rest of the story is deep-fried history,” noted the release.
“We aim to provide customers with insight into who Daddy’s Chicken Shack is -- a brand looking to spread sunshine, happiness, and above all else, quality food to enjoy among family and friends,” said the founder, Webb in the release.
