Bank of America names Scottsdale resident as one of its student leaders

Posted

Aidan Lin, a student at Brophy College Preparatory and Scottsdale resident, has been selected as one of Bank of America’s five student leaders in Phoenix.

Through this paid summer internship, Lin will work with local nonprofit Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at its Ed Robson Branch in Phoenix to help young people and participate in a virtual leadership summit, according to a press release.

Lin holds numerous leadership positions in school clubs and volunteers regularly in his free time. He is a certified peer counselor at Teen Lifeline, a non-profit organization that provides resources and education to enhance resilience in youth and fosters supportive communities to prevent teen suicide.

After completing the rigorous training and certification process, Lin receives calls and counsels with Teen Lifeline and works to actively support those who are in need, the release stated.

In addition to his work with Teen Lifeline, Lin is also the founder and vice president of Outreach for iReach, a flexible youth services platform that allows members to host programs to fundraise and volunteer for.
