A vote of confidence: Scottsdale school board evaluation reports Dr. Menzel doing ‘excellent’ job

Dr. Scott Menzel is doing a fine job during his first six months as Scottsdale Schools’ Superintendent, the school board announced following a private mid-year evaluation.

The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board and Dr. Menzel met in a closed-door meeting Dec. 18 to discuss the superintendent’s first six months.

Following the private meeting, Governing Board President Allyson Beckham read a prepared statement outlining the satisfaction with Dr. Menzel.
