Two Republicans vying to be Biggs' successor in CD5

Two candidates are vying to be the Republican nominee to replace Andy Biggs in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressional District 5.

Former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb will square off against political newcomer Daniel Keenan for the nomination with both expressing strong support for President Donald Trump.

The seat is open as Biggs, who is serving his fifth term as one of the most conservative members of Congress, is giving it up to run for governor of Arizona.
