Queen Creek's pancake breakfast set for Saturday

Posted

Residents will get the latest on town doings and enjoy a free pancake breakfast on Saturday, courtesy of the council.

The breakfast runs from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road.

Hosted by the Queen Creek Town Council, this is an opportunity for residents to learn what’s happening in the town and be “QC Neighborly” while enjoying a breakfast featuring IHOP pancakes and Starbucks coffee, according to the town.

Town representatives will share information on upcoming projects and answer questions. In addition to learning about new businesses coming to town, residents can also get information on upcoming roadway projects and what’s happening with the public safety departments.

Families can peek inside construction, utility and emergency vehicles during “Touch-a-Truck,” and Dignity Health will be providing 100 free flu shots for individuals over the age of 3. Shots will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Entertainment will feature a petting zoo, barrel racing and watch the Festival of Driving Pleasure Show.
