The Queen Creek Unified School District is celebrating three major achievements this week.
The district earned recognition from U.S. News & World Report, received an “A” rating from the Arizona Department of Education and tied for the third-highest district GPA in Arizona.
“This is an extraordinary week for Queen Creek Unified School District, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together,” QCUSD Superintendent Perry Berry stated in a press release. “To receive national recognition, earn an ‘A ‘rating as a district, see every single one of our schools achieve an A rating, and rank among the top three districts in Arizona for GPA is truly remarkable.”
Along with being recognized by its U.S. News & World Report, the Arizona Department of Education gave the district an overall “A” rating, with every school in the district also earning an “A” rating, release stated.
Adding to the celebration, QCUSD tied for the third-highest district GPA among Arizona school districts.
“What’s especially meaningful about these accomplishments is that they represent excellence across our entire district,” Berry stated in the release.
