Posted

Of the four candidates running for two seats on the Queen Creek Unified School District governing board in the Nov. 3 election, three filed third-quarter campaign finance reports.

Samantha Davis, who currently serves as president of the board, is running for reelection. She has been on the governing board since 2018.

Current board member Kelli Anderson will be running for her first full term after being appointed in 2025.

They are being challenged by Michael Romero and Sarah Purcell.

According to Maricopa County Elections office, Purcell did not file a campaign finance report for the third quarter.

Davis received $2,000 from Arizona residents, with two individuals giving $1,000 each. She received no money from out of state, businesses or political action committees.

Anderson reported $2,932 from Arizona residents. The political action committee, Students First Coalition, gave $1,000 to Anderson’s campaign. She received no money from out of state or businesses.

Romero received $1,425 from Arizona residents and $575 from out-of-state individuals. He received no money from businesses or political action committees.
