A member of Queen Creek’s economic development recently won a major award.
Economic Development Specialist Bridgette Blair was named the prestigious Member of the Year by the Arizona Association for Economic Development.
The award recognizes individuals who have made a significant commitment to the association such as active involvement on the board of directors, committees, the recruitment of new members, regular attendance at events and organizational/event sponsorship, according to a town press release.
Having previously served as associate director for 11 years, Blair returned as a volunteer, and committee leader. She currently serves as vice chair of the town’s awards banquet committee.
Blair earned her Arizona Association for Economic Development pro certification and is working toward her certified economic developer certification.
