Queen Creek school mountain biking club receives gift
The club is now outfitted with matching mountain biking gloves

The mountain biking racing club at Payne Junior High School in Queen Creek recently received an anonymous donation of mountain biking gloves worth $1,000.
A local mountain biker reached out anonymously to Trail Manos to provide the gloves. Trail Manos is an Arizona-based company specializing in mountain biking equipment and apparel and is an official sponsor of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.
Tim Yerkes, co-owner of Trail Manos, delivered the gloves to Payne Junior High School Coach James Collier at the school, 7655 S. Higley Road in Queen Creek . The student bikers were excited and thankful about receiving matching team gloves.
Trail Manos MTB Gloves are available in six distinct patterns with one being created by a local Native American artist, OXDX Clothing, who pays tribute to and celebrates indigenous art and design.
A portion of sales goes to support NICA’s mission to develop interscholastic mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States.
Also receiving a portion of sales is Silver Stallion Bicycle and Coffee, which aims to develop skills among youth and young adults in bicycle repair and bikes in New Mexico and the Navajo Nation.
