Queen Creek rodeo is focus of For Our Town meeting

Queen Creek and the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce are holding their first For Our Town meeting on Thursday and it will focus on the town’s annual Roots N’ Boots Rodeo.

The meeting takes place from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 22035 E. Ocotillo Road.

The rodeo has grown into one of the town’s major spring events, bringing in visitors from around the Valley and nation.

Roots N’ Boots is organized by Friends of Horseshoe Park, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit the supports the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre.

The 2026 Roots N’ Boots Rodeo is scheduled to take place March 17-22 at the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre.

For Our Town is a partnership between the chamber and the town. It is a community-driven project that brings together nonprofit and faith-based groups, businesses and schools to address the challenges facing Queen Creek.

The gathering includes guided roundtable discussions focused on community needs and partnership opportunities.
