Queen Creek police issue notification of sex offender

The Queen Creek Police Department has issued a community notification on a Level 2 risk sex offender.

On Oct. 2, 2002, Brandin Stapleton, 48, was convicted of sexual conduct with a minor and police have been informed that he is residing at 20870 E. Longwood Dr., according to the QCPD notice. The victim was known to him.

An Arizona Risk Assessment was completed by QCPD and Stapleton was determined to be a Level 2, or intermediate, risk to the community.

Stapleton is described as a white male, 6 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Stapleton also goes by the aliases Brandon Stapleton, X Bam Bam.

“This information is made available for the purpose of notifying the public, in compliance with AZ State Law. Anyone who uses this information to commit a criminal act against another person is subject to criminal prosecution,” the QCPD notice stated.
