Banner Ironwood Medical Center recently named Ryan Denning the 2024 Paramedic of the Year. The recognition honors his leadership, service and dedication to the health and safety of the community.
“Ryan has made substantial contributions to our EMS division,” stated QCFMD Chief Vance Gray in a town press release. “Last year, we expanded our emergency transportation services, and Ryan has been instrumental. He has served as an instructor for various certifications, played a pivotal role in onboarding both suppression and ETS personnel, and continues to lead quarterly training sessions.”
Denning's accomplishment was recognized by the Queen Creek Town Council at its Dec. 18 meeting.
Denning is an engineer with QCFMD. He started with the organization in 2018 when he graduated from the joint fire academy class.
In 2023, he was promoted to engineer and currently serves as the engineer for engine 413.
