Queen Creek Olive Mill celebrates 20th anniversary

Posted

The Queen Creek Olive Mill is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year by launching a limited-edition extra virgin olive oil featuring a throwback label design.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community over the years,” stated  Perry Rea, owner of the Queen Creek Olive Mill, in a press release. “As we look back on how far we’ve come, it’s truly amazing to think that we’ve been in business for 20 years.”

Queen Creek Olive Mill started as a small farm shed and has grown into one of the key agritourism destinations in the town. The mill is the only working olive mill in Arizona.

The mill’s grove has nearly 10,000 olive trees grown in medium density, and this year, the farm harvested more than 30 tons of olives. In total, the harvest produced 3,579 liters of extra virgin olive oil.

The special-edition extra virgin olive oil will be available for a limited time both in store and online at www.queencreekolivemill.com. The olive oil is made with 100% Arizona-grown olives.
