Queen Creek invites students to enter water conservation art contest

Posted

April is Earth Month and Queen Creek is putting out a call for students to mark the occasion by entering an art contest.

K–12 students who live in or attend school within the Queen Creek water service area are invited to enter the 2026 Water Conservation Art Contest.

Students must submit two-dimensional artwork on an 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper along with a submission form by 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 25. The art can be drawn, painted, mixed media, digital or photography.

Artwork will be judged by the Downtown Arts and Placemaking Advisory Subcommittee based on originality, creativity and how well it reflects the topic of how one can reduce water use.

Teachers interested in making the contest a class project can send the entries in bulk, but each will still require an individual submission form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Space permitting, entries will be displayed in the Queen Creek Library lobby during Earth Month. Also, First-, second- and third-place winners will receive gift cards.
