The Queen Creek Town Council recommended approving several businesses for liquor licenses from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
Kilkenny's Irish Pub, 20736 E. Munoz St., is seeking approval for a new series 6 bar liquor license. A series 6 authorizes the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for consumption on and off the licensed premises.
“This on-sale license is ideal for establishments where the primary business is the sale of alcoholic beverages, such as traditional bars, pubs, nightclubs and lounges,” according to a staff report.
Kilkenny’s Irish Pub is currently under construction.
The Sacred Pint, 22020 S. Ellsworth Road, and Queen Creek Nail Spa, 37360 N. Gary Road, Suite 105, are seeking new series 7 beer and wine bar liquor licenses. A series 7 authorizes the sale of only beer and wine.
“This license is suitable for establishments that focus on beer and wine sales, such as wine bars, craft beer taprooms and smaller eateries that do not offer a full liquor bar,” the report continued.
Snooze, 21791 S. Ellsworth Loop Road, Suite 102, and Rosati’s Pizza, 25166 S. Ellsworth Road, Suite B-101, are seeking series 12 restaurant licenses.
A series 12 is “designed for bona fide restaurants where the primary business is the sale of food, and the sale of spirituous liquor (beer, wine and distilled spirits) is incidental to the food service,” according to the report.
