Health care provider One Medical is now open in Queen Creek following its grand opening celebration.
One Medical held its opening ceremony on Nov. 6, at 20734 E. Maya Road, Suite 101, in the QC District shopping center off Ellsworth Loop and Maya roads.
Attending the grand opening were the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, local business owners, Queen Creek Town Council Members Bryan McClure and Travis Padilla, Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley, Dignity Health representatives and One Medical staff.
"We want to do something that is lacking in health care and bring that human focus back into medicine. All of our visits in the office will be at least 30 minutes long, so you have time to discuss your concerns with your provider, get all your questions answered, and don't feel rushed,” stated Dr. Giao Quach, district medical director of the East Valley of Amazon One Medical, in a press release.
One Medical is a membership-based primary care practice. Annual membership plans are $199 per person and include 24/7 on-demand care nationwide via Video Chat or Treat Me Now at no extra cost.
The Queen Creek office offers primary care for kids and adults of all ages, including seniors who are on Medicare. One Medical also takes most commercial plans, as well as original Medicare with or without most Medicare supplement plans and select Medicare Advantage Plans.
Services include pediatrics, preventative care, physical exams, women's health and mental health. The Queen Creek location has 12 provider rooms and two lab stations.
One Medical has a decade-old partnership with Dignity Health “to enhance primary care access in the state of Arizona. Since that time, we have partnered with One Medical to open seven locations throughout the Valley,” Deb Martell, vice president of provider network growth and development at Dignity Health, stated in the release.
Wheatley stated that the town is committed to helping residents stay healthy.
“It is one of our strategic priorities to have diverse businesses and organizations that help our residents, and their families enjoy that great quality of life that we've come to know and love here in Queen Creek,” she stated in the release.
