Family Care Center recently celebrated the grand opening of its sixth Arizona location — and first in Queen Creek.
The new clinic, which held a grand-grand opening ceremony hosted by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce on March 11, is located at 37200 N. Gantzel Road and expands access to comprehensive, coordinated mental health care in the community.
“When we first founded Family Care Center in 2016, our focus was on serving first responders, military members, veteran, and their families,” stated Dr. Chuck Weber, founder and chief medical officer of Family Care Center, in a press release. “We quickly recognized broader needs within the community. Meeting those needs requires a team-based approach.”
The Queen Creek clinic offers an integrated approach to behavioral health, bringing together therapy, psychiatry, medication management and treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation. This model allows patients to receive personalized care tailored to their individual needs.
Family Care Center provides services for children, teens, adults, couples and families. Its multidisciplinary team includes licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as well as TMS specialists.
“On behalf of the Queen Creek Town Council, it is an honor to celebrate the opening of Family Care Center,” stated Queen Creek Vice Mayor Bryan McClure in the release. “One of our top priorities is supporting a high quality of life, including access to both physical and mental health resources. Through collaborative efforts like For Our Town, we are working alongside nonprofits, businesses, faith groups and schools to address key challenges — especially mental health.”
For Our Town is a community initiative that brings together nonprofits, faith-based organizations, businesses and schools to tackle Queen Creek’s most pressing issues.
The initiative is a joint venture between the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and the town of Queen Creek.
Family Care Center leaders emphasized their commitment to becoming an integral part of the communities they serve by placing clinics close to where people live and work.
“We are excited to be here in Queen Creek,” stated Clinic Director Preston Strebeck in the release. “As a long-time resident, it means a great deal to help bring much-needed mental health support to this community. My grandfather farmed here in the 1950s, and it’s incredibly meaningful to carry on his legacy in a new way. While he helped grow crops, I now have the opportunity to help grow strong, healthy families.”
