An annual Florence tradition enters its 37th year.
The Historic Florence Home Tour is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11. Attendees can see diverse architectural styles of homes and buildings. Visitors may walk the tour route, which begins in downtown Florence. Those interested in seeing outlying historical structures can catch a trolley.
The homes on the tour are chosen through a combination of resident submittals and town selections. The homes on the tour are easily more than 100 years old. The oldest dates to 1875, with others coming in at 1878 and 1888.
Last year’s event featured:
- The Jesus Martinez Clemente Romo Residence, 321 N. Bailey St.
- C. Warner House, 200 E. Third St.
- The Clum William Guild House, 180 N. Granite St.
Tickets are $20 for adults on the day of the event or $15 in advance. Kids 17 and under are free. Advance tickets are available at the Pinal County Historical Society and Museum, Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Florence Visitor’s Center and the Florence Library and Community Center.
