Crismon High in Queen Creek chooses mascot

Posted

Crismon High School, Queen Creek Unified School District's newest high school opening this summer, has unveiled its new mascot: the Crismon Rattlers.

The high school, the third in the Queen Creek Unified School District with cost of $56 million, is at 21942 E. Riggs Road.

"We want to thank the community for helping us choose our mascot," said CHS Principal Elyse Torbert. "The rattlers are native to Arizona, and along with the name Crismon, represent our strong ties to this community and its history."

CHS is currently under construction on a master-planned campus of over 76 acres. It will feature technology-rich, collaborative learning spaces as well as comprehensive academics including AP and dual enrollment courses, athletics and arts programs.

It also will feature career path academies dedicated to STEM, Health Sciences, Business and Leadership, and Design and Construction.
