Every year in September, Queen Creek commemorates the town’s 1989 incorporation with Founders’ Day, which brings the community together to celebrate the town’s history and agricultural roots in an event packed with family-friendly activities, contests and games for all ages.
Founders’ Day 2026 is from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, at Frontier Family Park, 20039 S. 220th St.
Founders’ Day will offer hands-on agricultural experiences and animal interactions in the FFA Zone, interactive science, technology, engineering and math activities in the 4-H Zone, pie- and watermelon-eating contests, relays, a Nerf Battle Zone, mini golf, carnival games and more, according to a town press release.
