A new child care center recently held its grand opening celebration in Queen Creek.
Busy Bees Heritage Square, 21467 S. Ellsworth Road, opened to the public on June 9, but held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 16.
The event brought together Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley, local leaders, including Economic Development Director Doreen Cott and CDT Kids President Mathew Curtner, as well as local families and community members, according to a press release.
The 13th location in the state, Busy Bees works to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment through its BeeCurrious Curriculum, a proprietary program that blends play-based learning with an educational foundation for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
“With our dedicated educators, enriching curriculum, and thoughtfully designed learning environments, our new Queen Creek location is ready to give every child the best possible start in life,” Teri Davies, vice president of market expansion for Busy Bees North America, stated in the release.
In addition to showcasing the new facility, the celebration also included a donation to CDT Kids, an East Valley-based nonprofit that provides children from ages 1 to 20 with educational therapy programs addressing individual needs ranging from autism spectrum, learning and neurological disorders to developmental delays, Down syndrome and more.
