Weidner rental price-fixing settlement funds ready for distribution

The Atrium Court Apartment Homes by Weidner Properties is one of 18 Phoenix properties owned by Weidner that fall under the settlement with the Arizona Attorney General in February for rental price-fixing.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced in February a settlement with Weidner Property Management LLC in a rental price-fixing case.

The process to receive those funds began Monday, through the city of Phoenix and local anti-poverty nonprofit Wildfire, some of those funds are now available be recovered by those former tenants of Weidner.

Those affected either have to currently be living in a Weidner property or have lived in a Weidner property in the past and are still living in Arizona.
