You have to be a registered voter to receive a ballot-by-mail. After filling it out, you have to sign your ballot. Your signature is then verified with the signature that is on file. If there is a discrepancy, you will be contacted for confirmation. I’ve been doing it for years. It’s simple.

Several states have a website where you can follow the handling of your ballot. I think every state should have a website available. You can virtually track your vote to verify it has reached the Secretary of State’s office.
Paper ballots leave a paper trail that can be recounted if necessary. Paperless voting by computers can be hacked by outside evil Communist people that hate America.
I don’t have to stand in line for hours to place my vote. I will have my ballot in the mail the day after I receive it. This ensures it gets to the polls in plenty of time to be counted. My ballot will not give me the virus.
