A 39-year-old man died at the scene after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday near 33^rd Drive and Deer Valley Road, police said.

The collision occurred about 4 a.m. Sept. 5, and preliminary indications were that the unidentified pedestrian was crossing Deer Valley Road mid-block and not in a crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle, police said.
