Shadow Mountain invites families to explore advanced academics program
Shadow Mountain High School will host an informational open house Sept. 23 for families interested in its Developing Authentic Academics through Purposeful Scholarship program.
The DAAPS program serves advanced students in grades 9-12 with a humanities-based curriculum designed for honors, gifted and Advanced Placement students.
The open house begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Shadow Mountain High School Media Center. Students will discuss their experiences in DAAPS, and attendees can learn about the program’s four-year progression and culminating DAAPSTONE capstone project.

Information will also be available about other Shadow Mountain programs, including the North Valley Arts Academies and JROTC.
