Are you looking for a safe ride home this New Year’s Eve? Celebrate responsibly and grab a complimentary ride home, courtesy of the Coors Light Free Rides program. Transportation will be free of charge for all Valley Metro riders from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. across all transit.
Ring in the New Year with downtown Phoenix’s block party.
The 10th Annual New Year’s Eve Block Party gets under way at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at Margaret T. Hance Park, 67 W. Culver St., Phoenix.
The 21+ event features three stages of music with performances from The Funk Hunters, Sean Watson, Alaskan Franks, Avitas, Ancient Serpents and others on the main stage. The Club 90s Stage presents “Club 2000s” as DJ Jeffery spins anthems from Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Panic! At The Disco, Outkast, The Killers, Usher, Beyonce and more. The Plaza Stage will feature the “130 Club” with DJ’s Pootiecat and JME Lee spinning hip-hop and R&B - including Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Tierra Whack, Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, Kaytranada and more.
Hance Park will be transformed into a New Year’s party by The Walter Show and art installations with lighting by Western Productions.
And of course there will be fireworks at midnight to welcome in 2022.
Event proceeds to benefit The Walter Hive, which provides opportunities for sustainable skill set development for participants to connect people through compassion, art and creative expression.

Enjoy sparkling apple cider, music and dancing, noisemaker activity, and a festive balloon drop on the atrium.
“Noon” Year’s Eve at Westgate
10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31
Westgate Entertainment District, 6751 N. Sunset Blvd., Glendale
The kid-friendly celebration will feature costume characters, a glitter slime-making zone, games, prizes and a communal countdown and confetti balloon drop at 12 p.m. to kick off 2022.
