The rosters are set for 2026 All-Star Futures Game, highlighting how many of the next generation of MLB’s stars pass through Arizona.
More than half of the 50 players named to the Futures Game roster have played pro ball in the Valley at some point, whether in the Cactus League, Arizona Fall League or Arizona Complex League. Two were born in Arizona. Likely several more have participated in minor league spring training in the Valley, but stats are not published on those games.
Each team is sending either one or two prospects to the game, which will be played at 9 a.m. Arizona Time on July 12 in Philadelphia ahead of the Home Run Derby on July 13 and All-Star Game on July 14. The list features 38 players from MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects rankings, including nine of the top 10. Nineteen of 30 teams are sending their top prospect.
