A donation drive to help homeless youth is underway, led by WaFd Bank and LifeologyAZ.

From now until Oct. 15 people can drop off these much needed donations at the Glendale WaFd Bank to benefit homeless teens.

Drop off locations are at the WaFd Bank, 6895 W. Bell Road, Glendale or LifeologyAZ, 3718 S. 62nd Ave., Phoenix.

The Hygiene and Hoodies donation drive is taking place in conjunction with nonprofit, LifeologyAZ. They are collecting hoodies of all sizes, along with hygiene essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, feminine hygiene products, razors, lip balm, face wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss.

LifeologyAZ’s mission is to end youth homelessness in our area by creating low barrier entry to housing, basic needs and critical resources.

After receiving 501c3 status in 2019 LifeologyAZ began educating the broader community on the needs of youth and young adults experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness.

Its shelter was fully licensed by the Department of Child Safety in December 2021 and hosted its first youth in March 2022.
