Desert Sky Mall in west Phoenix is hosting a “Give Back for Back-to-School” campaign with the goal of helping foster care children get a start to the new school year.
As a part of the campaign, Desert Sky Mall presented a check for $5,000 to The Foster Alliance to support the foster children the program serves.
“Every child should have the opportunity to begin the school year feeling confident, included and prepared to learn,” said Maureen Noe, president and CEO of The Foster Alliance, in a news release. “Through the support of partners such as Desert Sky Mall, our Back-to-School Program helps provide children in foster care across Arizona and New Mexico with essential school supplies while also reducing the burden on foster and kinship families.”
