Arizona has recieved another low ranking in education, this time when it comes to its teachers.

A new report found Arizona is the worst place for teachers based on collection of data including salaries, career prospects and work benefits, according to scholarship website Scholaroo.

The report put Arizona at No. 50 out of the U.S. states with the worst marks on salary and work environment and a No. 48 rank in student achievement.

Arizona had the lowest average salaries in the report and the highest pay gap when comparing teaching with other professions. It also had the highest student-to-teacher ration and ranked No. 47 for lowest annual per-pupil spending.

The report used 42 different metrics in five categories to rank the states, according to Scholaroo.

The same group also ranked Arizona as among the least educated states in the U.S.

Arizona has regularly come out on the low end of various rankings when it comes to education
