Students are invited to join Peoria Youth Citizen Police Academy

Peoria students entering 7th or 8th grade in the fall are invited to register for the Peoria Police AZ Youth Citizen Police Academy.

Topics of the academy include: alcohol/DUI goggles & carts, crime scene investigations, fingerprinting, dangerous drugs education, SWAT presentation, firearms safety, equipment demos, internet & social media safety, team building, K-9 presentation, vaping, current events, and more.

The one-week sessions take place in June:

• Peoria High School: June 3-6

• Centennial High School: June 10-13

• Sunrise Mountain High School: June 17 – 20

• Liberty High School: June 24-27

• The last day of each session will be held at the Peoria Police Department
