The Liberty High School DECA Club sent 16 students to the AZ DECA District 2 competition. At the end of the day, the Lions came home with 15 total medals including – three Top Overall Winners, seven Section Winners, and five Test Medalists.
Next up is the State Conference Feb. 21-23 in Phoenix.
Arizona DECA was established in 1961 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, held by the Arizona Department of Education, that engages and equips students in high schools and colleges throughout the state.
Teachers and administrators prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
