Part of $2.66 million in grants to nonprofits throughout Arizona

The state of Arizona is investing more than $47,000 in Peoria nonprofit arts and its culture sector.

The funding is part of a one-time legislative appropriation of more than $2 million in support of Arizona’s arts & culture sector going to communities throughout the state with today’s announcement of grants awarded to nonprofits, festivals, and arts learning programs.

Arizona Commission on the Arts, a state agency, announced 409 grant awards totaling $2.66 million.
