Cooler evenings are finally here and downtown Peoria is celebrating with the return of Second Saturdays.
The season kicks off Oct. 10, with a special event in partnership with Somos Peoria, the city’s month-long Hispanic Heritage celebration. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., downtown Peoria will come alive with music, more than 40 local makers and vendors, gallery shows, food and creative spaces to explore.
The event nearly culminates the month-long Somos Peoria, which concludes Oct. 17 with a custom car show at Peoria City Hall & Centennial Plaza.
