Peoria weekly music series returns in March

The Music in March series returns to the West Valley.

Paloma Community Park, in Peoria, will feature four free Sunday evening concerts throughout the month.

Residents can bring blankets and chairs to enjoy music featuring local musicians in an outdoor setting. Paloma Community Park is located at 29799 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway.

The concerts are March 3, 10, 17, and 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. each Sunday. A different musical genre will be featured each week.

The artists are:

  • March 3: Velvet Road – Phoenix band with their unique blend of pop, country, and rock and roll
  • March 10: Lisa Hightower – High-energy performer who performs her blend of jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, and soul
  • March 17: Pete Pancrazi – Vocalist and guitarist with a growing repertoire of original compositions, along with straight-ahead and Latin jazz classics
  • March 24: Desert Dixie – Five-piece band fronted by Arizona natives JT Hubbell and Cody Lynn playing hot new country, country classics, originals, blues, rock, and top 40 hits

Also, local food trucks will be serving up food and drinks for purchase.
