The city of Peoria has earned another major economic development honor, receiving the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s 2026 Golden Prospector Deal of the Year award for the Amkor Technology + Peoria Innovation Core project.
Golden Prospector Awards recognize outstanding economic development efforts across Arizona. The Deal of the Year category honors projects that have made a significant impact through business attraction, expansion or retention.
Peoria’s award recognizes the city’s work to bring Amkor Technology to the Peoria Innovation Core, a project that is helping position the city as a growing hub for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor technology.
