Peoria Centennial baseball vaults into 5A title contention

Centennial baseball made it to the eight-team, double-elimination portion of the playoffs in 2024, the first foray that far in nine years.

Not long after the season ended in a seventh-place tie, the Coyotes decided this was not much of a milestone.
