Missing Peoria girl found unharmed, suspect in custody

Kirby Carr has been found unharmed and is safe, Peoria police reported Sunday afternoon.

She went missing June 8 from her home near Lake Pleasant Parkway and West Speckled Gecko Drive after a supervised visit with a non-custodial parent, police said.

Kevin Carr, the non-custodial parent, has been taken into custody, police said.

The Peoria Police Department will be conducting press conference at 11 a.m. Monday.
