Real estate company Greystar has announced it is leasing for Summerwell Peoria Place, their latest build-for-rent community located at 7951 W. Whitney Dr., according to a news release.

Summerwell is Greystar’s dedicated build-for-rent brand focused on developing single-family rental communities across the United States. This approach to build-for-rent adds single-family housing supply while striving to deliver efficient and scalable communities in target markets that need this product most, the release said.

Greystar’s master plan for Peoria Place will introduce more than 600 apartments and build-for-rent homes, as well as a 400,000 square-foot space dedicated to logistics. The project is made up of 255 duplexes as well as one- and two-story detached homes and provides a build-for-rent opportunity near Grand and Olive avenues.

Summerwell Peoria Place will be delivered alongside Marlowe Peoria Place, Greystar’s luxury apartment home community featuring one- and two-bedroom apartment homes from 650 to 1,180 square feet.

Summerwell Peoria Place has homes from Phase I ready for immediate move-in, with the entire 255-home development slated for completion in Fall 2025.
