Get ready to eat!

Foodstock, with more than 50 vendors including new and returning food trucks, returns to Peoria for a sixth year this spring.

Those in attendance will experience flavors from all over the Valley. The festival will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave.

Get Local Arizona Events is collaborating with the Peoria Diamond Club for Foodstock by donating all of the gate proceeds to help feed hungry children in the West Valley.

“We are thrilled to feature some of Arizona’s greatest culinary minds in a variety of cuisines at Foodstock,” Christa Esquibel, Get Local Arizona Events organizer and owner, shared in a press release. “And we are proud to create an event that supports local businesses and helps those who need it most.”

In addition to food and drink options, the event is full of family-friendly activities. Kids can enjoy splash pads, playgrounds, face painting, bounce houses and more. Admission is $5 and free for children 12 and under.

Guests can sample food and vote for “best food truck.”
