Paradise Valley restricts road cuts on newly resurfaced roads

Paradise Valley Town Council unanimously approved five-year restrictions on road cuts and excavations on recently resurfaced sections of Scottsdale Road and Invergordon Road during its Sept. 10 meeting.

The new restrictions are intended to prevent newly resurfaced pavement from being repeatedly cut open for utility work and other excavations, which can lead to traffic disruptions, pavement damage and uneven patches, according to town documents.

Council Member Julie Pace asked town staff to clarify the necessity of the proposals and what they will mean for residents.
