The Paradise Valley Police Department welcomed its two newest officers following a swearing-in ceremony Wednesday, July 29, according to the Paradise Valley Town Manager’s weekly update.
Officers Alex Lonien and Timothy Mitchell joined the department in June and recently passed the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board certification exam officially completing their training period.
Police Chief Freeman Carney administered the oath of office during a swearing-in ceremony attended by the officers’ families, friends, fellow officers and department staff.
