Paradise Valley Police Department officers had training sessions to refresh their skills related to impaired driving and alcohol offenses on Wednesday Aug. 26.
The training aimed to sharpen officers' skills through the entire process of alcohol-related arrests from properly recognizing impairment on the roadways, to documenting the incident thoroughly to effectively supplying courtroom testimony, according to the Town Manager’s Aug. 28 weekly update newsletter.
Officers from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control provided training on alcohol-related offenses and current trends.
