Paradise Valley police adopting AI tools to enhance investigations

The Prepared 911 program provides real-time transcription, translation, caller video sharing and more to dispatchers who can then get officers to the scene of an incident quickly and with more information.

The Paradise Valley Police Department is embracing artificial intelligence to help reduce call times, paperwork and enhance officers’ communications with the public.

At its Dec. 11 meeting, the Paradise Valley Town Council unanimously approved adding more than $950,000 spread out over eight years to PVPD’s contract with Axon Enterprises Inc. to include AI products.
